About Us
We’ve been married for 15 years and love each other very much! Our relationship is strong and based on love, open communication, trust and commitment to each other. We feel lucky every day to share our life with our daughter Amanda. She is a fun-loving, energetic 4 year old who would love to have a little brother or sister to play with!

Our Pledge
Our children will have all of our love, a good home, strong family connections, and a lot of fun! We feel education is very important and will provide excellent education and opportunities to experience music, sports, and travel. We will be kind and patient teachers to help our children learn about the world and have a happy life. Our child will grow up knowing how much you love him or her and get to know you at whatever level you are comfortable.

Our Home  
We feel lucky to live in a beautiful house in a quiet subdivision. Our kitty Kimba shares the house with us (although she likes to think it’s hers!) There is a big backyard that’s great for running and playing ball with room for a large play set. Our friendly neighborhood is filled with children of all ages who have a great time playing together. There is a wonderful park not far away with a lake and a playground. It’s fun to feed the ducks and then play on the swing and slide!

Interests
We enjoy working in the yard when the weather is nice. Amanda likes to help Daddy trim the bushes and help Mommy plant flowers and vegetables. She will enjoy having a little brother or sister to help her push the wheel barrow and make “mud pies” with the extra dirt! We also enjoy going to the pool and the lake to play in the water and swim. It will be fun to have another child join us in splash fights and floating on “noodles”. Our house is filled with music most days with Brian playing his guitar, Chris playing the piano and Amanda playing her kiddy piano. We would love another little boy or girl to join the fun of making music with us!

Careers
Brian is a scientist and enjoys doing experiments, giving talks and teaching students. Chris is a physical therapist and finds satisfaction from helping people get better. Brian’s flexible schedule allows him to hang out in the morning and play games before work and Chris’ part-time schedule makes it easy to take trips to the park and go to special activities. Chris plans on eventually staying home with our children full-time.

Family
Our family and friends are very supportive and excited for us to adopt another child. We visit Grandma and the cousins several times a year, including an annual family reunion, and an annual week long trip to the beach in Florida. Amanda’s cousins are excited to have another cousin to find shells with at the beach, color, and sing silly songs. Grandma is waiting to rock another grandchild to sleep.
