ABOUT US

Naomi came to the United States from Japan in 1994, planning to study English. What she didn’t plan on was to fall in love and stay, but that’s exactly what she did. We met at California State University East Bay, and have been happily married since 1998. Our love transcends ethnicity, which makes us truly unique, and strengthens our commitment to each other.

We have strong faith and a desire to share all our love for each other with our little one.  We love to travel, learn, and experience different cultures. We annually visit our relatives in Japan, and California.  Together we are a harmonious blend of ethnic humanity and culture.  We enjoy growing our own seasonal vegetables and flowers.  We love smooth jazz, nature, the outdoors, playing tennis, and bike riding together and can’t wait to do these things with our child.

AS PARENTS

We will maintain our child’s creativity and curiosity through encouraging exploration and individuality.  We will shower our little one with love through reading children’s stories and visit to museums, playgrounds, and parks.  We sill stress the importance of a great education and play and laughter.  We will be active participants in our child’s life and will take him/her to piano lessons, soccer practice, fishing trips and more.

Naomi looks forward to becoming a stay-at-home mom and sharing her love of playing piano and baking with our child.  We can’t wait to share our love of different languages and look forward to raising our child to be bilingual.

We hope that together we can raise our child to share his/her love openly with others.

OUR HOME

We live in Ripon, California. Our sunny home is a bright, with lots of windows and natural light.  Within walking distance, there is a new elementary school, playground/park, and middle school. We have always dreamt of filling our happy home with sounds of laughter from our child.

Naomi
is a very easygoing person who is patient and loving.   Her compassion and selfless nature are among the traits that will make her a great mother.  Naomi loves children so much that she earned a bachelor’s degree in Child Development.  She currently works as an infant/toddler and pre-school teacher at a child care center. Naomi looks forward to passing on her cultural tradition of striving to create harmony in all that we do, and respecting our planet earth.

Eric
is a compassionate person who loves art, soccer, cooking, fishing, and smooth jazz.  He is a counselor/instructor at a community college and loves to help students and people in need. He loves anything outdoors.  He can’t wait to coach our child’s soccer team.  Eric’s sense of fun and strength will make him a great father.
