Meet Lisa

“After watching her with our nephews and our friends’ children, I know she has the love, patience, and compassion to provide a healthy and happy home for our child.” - Tim

In my life, I value the relationships I have with my family and friends. My most favorite times are those spent with loved ones. I have a close circle of girlfriends who have grown to feel more like my sisters. I stay very connected with my family even though we live on opposite coasts. We talk on the phone often and usually see each other twice a year whether it’s a visit here or we go there. Occasionally one of these visits will be for the Christmas holiday. I can remember the care my mom would take, and still does, in decorating our house and how my sister and I couldn’t wait to help with getting things ready. We would pester our dad because we wanted our tree up as early as possible and the lights on our house outside. When I was old enough I would help my mom with baking all the holiday cookies. I am now bringing these traditions into our home and I can’t wait to share this with our child and create special memories for them!

Growing up where I did on Long Island was culturally diverse and afforded me the best of two worlds; summers spent at the beach while still being in close proximity to New York City. I am excited to live in the Bay Area and hope to be able to share the culture and diversity of where we live with our children.

I am outgoing and have the “gift of gab”, but I am also a good listener and confidant. I enjoy a good joke and have a great sense of humor (or at least I think so until someone is teasing me!) I have recently become very active in our community, partially because I value the chance to take a role in helping develop the environment in which we live and will raise our family. I really enjoy entertaining in our home and like to make these events special. Around our home I like gardening and take pleasure in them when relaxing outside. After all of these activities, there are just some days I want to curl up with a good book or two on the couch or in bed and read.
