Meet Tim

For me, growing up in Pennsylvania was full of family camping trips, back yard Wiffle ball games, long bike rides, playing with Legos, summer afternoons at the community swim club, and eating lunch in the tree house behind our home. I hope to be able to give our children similar memories. I still enjoy many of the same activities as I did growing up – even playing with Legos! For several years while living in San Francisco, I coached a youth soccer team. I really enjoyed coaching, and I would love to have the chance to do the same for my children. I am very close with my parents and brother, even though they live on the east coast. We talk on the phone often, and look forward to our visits with great anticipation.

I value caring, generosity, and a sense of humor. I think of myself as highly motivated, but I rarely strive for the attention of others. I try to be friendly and outgoing, but I also enjoy time alone. I enjoy cooking, and particularly like being “creative” in the kitchen. I generally prepare dishes without the aid of a recipe which I think usually turn out pretty well (but Lisa may have a different opinion!) I also enjoy playing with our dog Cody, tackling any home improvement project I can get my hands on, and squeezing in a round of golf every now and then.



I am a Structural Engineer and have owned my own business for nearly five years. I have loved buildings and figuring out how to put things together since an early age, so structural engineering has been a great fit for me. Working from home allows me the flexibility of being my own boss and choosing my work schedule and am looking forward to being able to help care for our child. I want to be there as they grow up and to participate in their many activities as my father was able to do when my brother and I were growing up!
